Growing up, my mom used seasoning packets for everything – tacos, sloppy joes, gravy, spaghetti sauce, etc. While they certainly are convenient, they are filling with ingredients that I prefer my family not eat, like MSG, tons of sodium, and artificial flavors and colors. The easiest solution was to make my own seasoning mixes! This taco mix takes less than 2 minutes to whip together, and features spices that most everyone has in their kitchen. Go ahead and double the recipe so you’ll always have taco seasoning on hand.
